Harrod Sport, the UK’s leading manufacturer of sports equipment and an official goal supplier for UEFA EURO 2020, has launched an exciting social media competition giving football fans and families the chance to bring the EUROs to their back gardens this summer.

If fans correctly predict the total number of goals in a game featuring the Harrod Sport goals, they will be entered into a draw to win a Finesse Garden Goal set, with the prize packages getting bigger as the tournament progresses.

From the opening game to the final on July 11th, Harrod Sport and their 4G Stadium Pro Goals – described as “the latest evolution in goalposts” – will grace five prestigious venues including Wembley Stadium, London, and Hampden Park, Glasgow. Whilst the 3G Foldaway Euro Portagoal, used at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, will also be put to the test in one of the group round’s highlight games, Ronaldo’s Portugal Vs Mbappe’s France. 

Of the 31 games Harrod Sport goals will feature at, highlights also include the opening game, the semi-finals and the final, as well as England v Scotland and Italy v Wales.

It never gets old seeing world-class players score in our goals, and we can’t wait for them to be part of the latest chapter in EUROs history.

“The social media competition is a great way to celebrate our involvement in the tournament and encourage all the family to get outside.”

The social media competition forms part of a playful “Sleeping Giants Await” campaign; creatives that encourage Europe’s best strikers to elevate their game and “bring it” to their goals this summer. 

Personifying Harrod’s goals as “sleeping giants” waiting for Europe’s elite players to give them everything they’ve got, the campaign will react to the latest updates from players and results while showcasing Harrod’s goals and presence at the tournament.

Harrod Sport currently supplies “over 80 per cent of Premier League clubs,” as well as “a vast majority of Championship clubs,” and clubs “such as Real Madrid, PSG, Juventus, and many others” around Europe with Harrod manufactured equipment.

With headquarters in  Lowestoft, Suffolk, Harrod Sport has recently equipped the men’s and women’s FA Cup Final and the UEFA Champions League Final, and will also be present across a number of sports at next month’s Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
